Safe Fences ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through safefencemfg.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

When you submit our enquiry form, email us, or contact us via WhatsApp or telephone, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:

• Your name and company name
• Email address and phone number
• Project location, product interest, quantities and project details
• Any other information you include in your message

Information collected automatically

Our web host records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp. If you consent to optional analytics cookies, we may also collect aggregated usage statistics (pages viewed, time on site, approximate region). We do not use this data to identify you personally.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation
• To communicate with you about products, pricing, lead times and orders
• To maintain records of business correspondence
• To improve the content and performance of this website
• To comply with legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use your enquiry data for unsolicited marketing without your consent.

3. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR or similar legislation applies, we process your data on the basis of: (a) your consent, given when you submit the enquiry form; (b) our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries; and (c) compliance with legal obligations.

4. Compliance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Safe Fences is headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and this section explains how we handle personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), which applies to the processing of digital personal data of individuals ("Data Principals") in connection with offering goods or services in India, and, where relevant, to our processing of such data as a "Data Fiduciary" more broadly.

Notice and consent

Where we rely on your consent to process personal data (for example, the enquiry form), we ask for it through a clear affirmative action — the consent checkbox — and the request is specific to the purpose of responding to your enquiry. You may withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing juzer@safefencemfg.com; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it, and does not affect our ability to retain records where retention is otherwise required by law.

Your rights as a Data Principal

Subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities we carry out with it
• Request correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data
• Have a readily available means of grievance redressal in relation to our handling of your personal data
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer using the details in Section 12 below. We will acknowledge and act on your request within a reasonable time. If you remain unsatisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Cross-border transfer

Because our factory and offices are in India and our customers include businesses across the US and elsewhere, personal data collected through this Site may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside India (including India itself, where our servers and email systems are based) and outside your own country. The DPDP Act permits such transfers except to countries the Central Government of India has specifically restricted, and we do not transfer personal data to any such restricted destination.

Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and the affected Data Principals as required under the DPDP Act and its rules.

5. Cookies

We use two categories of cookies and local storage:

• Essential — required for the site to function, including remembering your cookie preference. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics (optional) — set only if you select "Accept All" in our cookie banner. They help us understand which pages are useful.

You may clear cookies and site data at any time through your browser settings. Choosing "Essential Only" prevents optional cookies from being set.

6. Third parties

Form submissions are transmitted to our email delivery provider so that they reach our sales inbox. WhatsApp conversations you initiate are governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.

7. Data retention

We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as necessary to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Where the DPDP Act's erasure provisions apply, we erase or anonymise personal data once the purpose for which it was collected is no longer being served and retention is not otherwise required by law.

8. Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — as also required of a Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act — to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights (general)

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email juzer@safefencemfg.com. If you are in India, see Section 4 above for your specific rights and the escalation route under the DPDP Act.

10. Children

This website is intended for business users. In line with the DPDP Act's definition of a child as anyone under 18, we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not use children's data for tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
